Owner Badge Allocation Policy
Shareholders must acknowledge that racecourses limit the number of owner badges (free and discounted) they will make available. The number allocated does vary from course to course.
We always hope to satisfy badge demand from shareholders for race days. However, on occasions when demand cannot be satisfied, to achieve fairness Iwantaracehorse.com will prioritise based on the number of shares the shareholder has purchased against the number of badges they have previously been allocated. Companion requests are limited to one per shareholder and will only be allocated when shareholder requests have been satisfied. Should Iwantaracehorse.com be unable to allocate a badge to a shareholder, they can still attend the race meeting as a member fo the general public and support their racehorse.
All badge requests must be made via the website before the time deadline which will be stated by Iwantaracehorse.com. Late requests will be disregarded.
Shareholders must acknowledge that a definite decision to race does not take place until the declaration stage (usually 48 hours before the race) and even then a late withdrawal (could be minutes before the race) may occur due to a change in circumstances.. Shareholders and their companions attend the racecourse at their own risk and cost in all circumstances. Also they must agree to adhere to all conduct/dress codes adopted by the racecourse. Please note: persons under the age of 16 are not allowed in parade ring.
Shareholders must notify Iwantaracehorse.com immediately (latest 6pm the day before the race) should they wish to cancel their badge request/allocation. It should be noted that failure to attend the race day without giving prior notice will affect the shareholder's priority rating when making a badge request in the future.
