Horse Overview

Oscar's Alice is a sturdy well framed mare who is superbly bred. Her sire Oscar has produced numerous top class winners, inc Big Zeb, Oscar Whisky, Peddlers Cross. If Alice has just half the talent of these horses we can look forward to lots of fun. On her dam side, again the breeding is full of winners with Florence Nightingale (3rd dam) producing 12 winners including  Night Nurse (35 race winner inc the champion hurdle).

Alice is a lightly raced 8 year old mare, who has shown plenty off ability in point-to-point races. She is tough, consistent and jumps for fun. She missed the 2010 season due to the virus which ensured she made a full recovery. Alice has shown her well being by being placed in all 4 of her races this year, the last of which was a very creditable 2nd. She is suited by good to firm ground.

29.08.11 - Oscars Alice was 6th in her first race under rules today. The race provided good experience for when she goes chasing later in the new year.
